Our Commitments

Our content embraces complexity over purity.

It stands independent of party and ideology, honoring plurality.

Not every voice our content amplifies reflects our own view, and that's precisely the point.

It engages without endorsing, driven by curiosity rather than conviction.

It practices dialogue, not takedowns.

It creates space for difficult conversations, rejecting censorship.

It normalizes conflict—disagreement is part of relationship, not a threat to it.

It resists evangelism and demands for conversion.

Above all, it upholds human dignity.

Journalist whose reporting has driven federal policy across two administrations—her Mic coverage of Alice Marie Johnson inspired Kim Kardashian's clemency campaign and helped build momentum for the First Step Act; her New York Times work spurred healthcare reform under both Trump and Biden. She hosted and produced the ACLU's national podcast At Liberty for five years, covering the Supreme Court, democracy, and civil rights. At 11, she founded Kids Caring 4 Kids, which raised over $1 million; at 14, she appeared on Oprah alongside President Clinton.
